Michael and Jana Park founded JM Park & Company in 1999 as a boutique executive search firm specializing in the financial services sector. For 25 years, our clients have turned to JM Park & Company when they need highly qualified talent to lead or build their organizations. Located in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, we have successfully completed nationwide search assignments for Mid-Sized, Community, and Global Institutions.
Michael Park

Michael Park has over 30 years of sales, management and recruiting experience in the Financial Services Industry. Michael leverages his deep industry knowledge with a vast network of contacts to provide clients with an unsurpassed level of quality and service; with outstanding candidates who not only have the leadership and technical skills to be successful but whose personal work style and career objectives closely match the company’s culture and the opportunity itself.
Prior to founding JM Park & Company, Mike held a senior credit role covering a 13 state territory for First Union’s Private Client Group with corporate-wide oversight of diversified loan portfolios. His commercial banking experience includes both line and staff positions in Retail Banking, Private Banking and Credit/Risk Management.
He graduated from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce with degrees in Finance and Management Information Systems.

Jana Park is co-founder of JM Park & Company. Jana's focus has been to maintain the company’s culture of caring and boutique approach to client service while expanding its capabilities, service offerings and geographic footprint. Jana heads the search development functions for the firm, implementing the research, design, and operation of customized search plans for our clients.
Jana’s previous experience in the banking industry includes leadership of sales and operations teams in both commercial banks and thrifts.
